| What: | Club Meeting / Hike | | When: | Saturday, February 19, 2005 | | 11:00am | | Where: | Adam Run Trail/Spring Hollow Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The parking area is on Akron Peninsula Road midway between Steels Corners Road and Bath Road. (near Blossom) | | Who: | Everyone and bring a friend. | | Description: | This 3.2 mile trail follows the Adam Run valley upstream, and crosses the creek eight times on bridges. It continues to climb up the ravine (91 steps) to a white pine plantation, then to an open field area. It descends through the woods and rejoins with Spring Hollow trail. There are some stairs to facilitate the descent. According to the Trail book it is a moderate to difficult hike due to steep climbs. After the hike, we can meet for a late lunch at The Winking Lizard in Peninsula. Happy Trails!
