A beautiful trail located in the Virginia Kendall area of the CVNP. It has some of the nicest scenery in this area - many pines, moss-covered rocks, high ledges, and overlook. It’s an easy/moderate 1.8-mile hike (it can be extended to 2-3 miles by connecting trails, if you like). We’ll meet at the trailhead located at the Octagon Shelter parking lot on Truxell Road (Kendall Park Rd. if coming from the east). Hope to see you there!
