| Where: | Octagon shelter in Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It is an enclosed shelter with two fireplaces and picnic tables. It is off of Kendall Park Road. |
| Who: | Everyone and bring a friend. |
| Description: | Let’s meet at the shelter and do a group hike using the Ledges, Pine Grove and Lake trails for a total of approximately 5-6 miles. I anticipate crummy weather (being March in Cleveland and all) so I reserved the Octagon shelter so we could warm up (dry off?) in relative comfort in front of a fire. In addition, let’s capitalize on the warmth and good company and have lunch. You can bring your own or bring to share, whatever you would like. I think we can discuss GPS units/technology and how to use mapping software after the hike/lunch. Bring your GPS, laptop and maps for this total ‘geek-out’ session. With our combined knowledge I suspect we will all learn a lot! Looking forward to seeing you on the 24th. Questions?
